First Calvary Baptist Church in Durham, N.C. will host the event, “Black Maternal Health and the Black Church: Expanding Bioethics Practice” on January 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

With Duke Divinity professor Wylin Wilson, the forum will include panels and strategy sessions on various topics, including the Black maternal health crisis, pregnancy-related loss, the role of Black men and fathers, and postpartum care and support.
